Community Issues Assessment for Area G
The RDN is undertaking a Community Issues Assessment for Area G, which includes San Pareil. The Assessment aims to provide residents with an understanding of the current system of governance in the RDN Area G, and to identify whether there are any key issues or emerging trends. Depending on the results of the Community Issues Assessment, further study may be considered to assess ways to address them.
The core Objectives of the Community Issues Assessment for Area G are to:
Identify and describe the different roles, responsibilities and jurisdictions of service providers;
Assemble information on existing service delivery arrangements and governance relationships;
Identify current and emerging issues and pressures related to services as seen by residents;
Better understand how decisions are made and the relationships between service providers;
Provide opportunities for residents, property owners, improvement district and First Nations to articulate the issues they see in Area G; and
Summarize findings for consideration by the RDN Board.
The meeting with the focus on San Pareil, River’s Edge, Martindale Road, Fourneau Way, Wildgreen Way and Coldwater Road will be held on:

WATERMAIN FLUSHING UPDATE:

Watermain Flushing in San Sans Pareil
Please be advised that the watermain flushing in San Pareil was underway, February 6th. However, due to the near-freezing temperatures, watermain flushing will not be completed by the end of the scheduled period from Feb 6-7, 2025.
The watermains have been flushed on the main arterial roads in San Pareil from Plummer Road to the waterfront, but the dead-end streets will have to wait until the weather is warmer.
Please watch for an additional notice about the completion of watermain flushing later in February/March 2025.
