WATER MAIN WORK ON SHOREWOOD

San Pareil Water Service Area – Watermain Upgrade
Date: Time: May 26 to mid-July 2025 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: 952 to 963 Shorewood Drive
The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) has contracted Graf Concrete & Iron Inc. to excavate and replace an undersized section of watermain on Shorewood Drive near the Rathtrevor Provincial Park trail entrance.
The work is expected to take place during daylight hours from May 26 to mid-July 2025. The roadway and the Rathtrevor Provincial Park trail entrance will remain open, however parking within the immediate construction area will be prohibited. Low levels of construction noise from an excavator and dump truck can be expected. For your safety and the safety of the work crew, please remain alert to work activities and obey any posted signs.
